After a rather tough play, Yarmouth FC's Gilles Sauvé got a free kick in the 17th minute. Broderick Ritter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norman Trimble, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daryl Brunson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Clarence Slaughter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Joachim Dove tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Walton Britton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joachim Dove having to interfere. When Clarence Slaughter came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Dieppe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clarence Slaughter couldn't finish the play. Daryl Brunson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes in the game, Norman Trimble fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Broderick Ritter having to interfere. Toby Ring fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Broderick Ritter having to interfere. When Clarence Slaughter came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Dieppe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clarence Slaughter couldn't finish the play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Clarence Slaughter to make the kick off. Toby Ring sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Broderick Ritter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toby Ring in the 54th minute of the match. Clarence Slaughter succeeded in the game's 56th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. After 59 played minutes Yarmouth FC got a freekick which was hit by Harvey Horton. With an all-out effort, Dieppe's Joachim Dove threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Clarence Slaughter, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daryl Brunson got free with Joachim Dove in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 68 played minutes Yarmouth FC got a freekick which was hit by Oren Sams. After a rather tough play, Yarmouth FC's Gilles Sauvé got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Nelson Trudeau, 73 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Daryl Brunson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Joachim Dove tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Daryl Brunson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilles Sauvé in the 85th minute of play forced Dieppe's goalkeeper Broderick Ritter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gilles Sauvé fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yarmouth FC's protests and gave Gilles Sauvé a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Yarmouth FC's Gilles Sauvé got a free kick in the 88th minute. Clarence Slaughter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joachim Dove read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
