Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Antoine Lavallée made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Désiré Wesley in the 2nd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Emo's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Lespérance came free, but Marc Gillespie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 7 minutes of play, Nipigon FC's Guy Scales made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marc Gillespie was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 12th match minute, Emo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sean Hicks to maneuver through the defense. After 15 played minutes Nipigon FC got a freekick which was hit by Olen Coker. In the 16th minute of the match Alphonse Gibson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Antoine Lavallée skillfully saved the ball. Antoine Lavallée stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Désiré Wesley's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Antoine Lavallée had great luck who in the 26thth minute grab hold of the ball when Désiré Wesley from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 29th minute Désiré Wesley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoine Lavallée saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Désiré Wesley in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antoine Lavallée saved Nipigon FC from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Désiré Wesley's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antoine Lavallée was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After 62 played minutes, Nipigon FC's Carlton Bailey shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marc Gillespie came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nipigon FC reached it. Antoine Lavallée made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Désiré Wesley in the 69th minute of play. Désiré Wesley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Antoine Lavallée tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Nipigon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Shawn Pool came free, but Antoine Lavallée reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shawn Pool might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antoine Lavallée. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Shawn Pool ran back to his position shaking his head. If Shawn Pool had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deangelo Gardner hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Marc Gillespie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guy Scales, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brenton Weir during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Emo getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Brenton Weir hit a great ball.
