Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Albert Reeves got the match started through his kick off. Clarence Slaughter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arden Monroe having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Dieppe's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Reeves came free, but Broderick Ritter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clarence Slaughter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Arden Monroe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daryl Brunson in the 15th minute of play forced Kangerthialuksoak's goalkeeper Arden Monroe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guy Brandt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Broderick Ritter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delmar Tran kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guy Brandt got free with Broderick Ritter in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Guy Brandt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kangerthialuksoak's supporters rose to their feet, but Guy Brandt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Broderick Ritter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Dieppe's Broderick Ritter got control of the ball when Guy Brandt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Broderick Ritter didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 28th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Shawn Kilgore kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Albert Reeves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guy Brandt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Broderick Ritter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Kangerthialuksoak's goal looked a bit too open when Daryl Brunson came free, but Arden Monroe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arden Monroe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clarence Slaughter in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Clarence Slaughter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dieppe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Clair Brewster managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dieppe's supporters rose to their feet, but Clair Brewster was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arden Monroe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Clarence Slaughter to strike the kick off in the second half. Dieppe's Broderick Ritter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Reeves in the 55th minute of play. If Albert Reeves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Kangerthialuksoak's Albert Reeves in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dieppe's goalie prevented a goal. If Daryl Brunson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the game, one of Kangerthialuksoak:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Dieppe a penalty, 64 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nelson Trudeau, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Kangerthialuksoak's Arden Monroe. 1-2. Clarence Slaughter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arden Monroe having to interfere. Daryl Brunson scored 1-3 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arden Monroe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Broderick Ritter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guy Brandt, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Albert Reeves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dieppe's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
