The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of Noranda:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Emo:s goal. In the 10th minute, Shane Keith hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Shawn Pool received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Elliot Burke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Shawn Pool recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Shawn Pool received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Elliot Burke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Monte Laberge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Gillespie having to interfere. In the 25th minute Roderick Wilhelm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marc Gillespie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Monte Laberge got free with Marc Gillespie in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Noranda's Elliot Burke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Désiré Wesley in the 38th minute of play. Désiré Wesley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Désiré Wesley to make the kick off. With his leg Elliot Burke managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Emo's Shawn Pool fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Elliot Burke stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Désiré Wesley's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Shawn Pool fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elliot Burke having to interfere. Désiré Wesley was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 59th minute. Emo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 63rd match minute, Emo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Friedman to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, Noranda's goal looked a bit too open when Désiré Wesley came free, but Elliot Burke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 71 minutes of play, Noranda's Roderick Wilhelm made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marc Gillespie was left in no man's land by his defense there! 76 minutes into the game, one of Emo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Noranda a penalty, 78 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Blaine Emery, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Emo's Marc Gillespie. 2-2. Emo were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
