The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Darius Vincent made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Wallace Nelson sent off a good shot on target. If Randal Coupart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 14 minutes into the match, Highgate AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Randal Coupart came free, but Darius Vincent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute, Onesime Labossière got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Wallace Nelson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Curtis Hong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Julian Schneider tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Curtis Hong's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julian Schneider read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Curtis Hong managed to get in a good position for a shot. Highgate AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Curtis Hong was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julian Schneider breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 31 played minutes Highgate AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Jacob. Randal Coupart struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Darius Vincent didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Petewahweh. Darius Vincent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Randal Coupart in the 37th minute of play. Johnathan Grimes hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the match, Highgate AFC's goalkeeper Darius Vincent had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wallace Nelson. Randal Coupart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Darius Vincent tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Randal Coupart was the one to do the kick off. Petewahweh's Julian Schneider proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Petewahweh from getting a goal against them. Onesime Labossière kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 82ndth minute. Though ot was a great shot Petewahweh's keeper Julian Schneider was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. A collision led to Highgate AFC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Brandon Morris hit a great ball. Onesime Labossière struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Julian Schneider didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal.
