Spectators: 6719 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Guy Scales kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the game, Olen Coker was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nipigon FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hylo the free kick. Olen Coker kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Antoine Lavallée took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jackie Colbert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute, Jackie Colbert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 8th match minute, Nipigon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthieu Charrette to maneuver through the defense. Max Mansfield showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guy Scales, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angel Lespérance got free with Max Mansfield in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Angel Lespérance came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Nipigon FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angel Lespérance couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Nipigon FC booed when Hylo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Émilien Vega didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pasquale Laderoute to make the kick off. Nipigon FC's Antoine Lavallée played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pasquale Laderoute in the 53rd minute of play. Antoine Lavallée showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pasquale Laderoute in the 54th minute of the match. Jackie Colbert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antoine Lavallée having to interfere. Matthieu Charrette hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Alexandre Goodman hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Jackie Colbert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 74 played minutes, Nipigon FC's Olen Coker shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Max Mansfield came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nipigon FC reached it. Antoine Lavallée showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pasquale Laderoute, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Pasquale Laderoute dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Antoine Lavallée, 0-1. Antoine Lavallée took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pasquale Laderoute, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute Juste Parks managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Hylo had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
