Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) When Hiram Scales fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Willowdale's protests and gave Hiram Scales a yellow card for diving instead. After 3 played minutes Willowdale got a freekick which was hit by Hiram Scales. If Abram Coon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th match minute, Willowdale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darron Jean to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Walton Britton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mikel Coley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the match, Dieppe's Clarence Slaughter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonel Longoria narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Dieppe getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Clair Brewster hit a great ball. Dieppe's Broderick Ritter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Dieppe from getting a goal against them. Broderick Ritter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Coon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Broderick Ritter came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Willowdale's Mikel Coley. But to his dismay, Mikel Coley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, Willowdale's Jim Thurman got a free kick in the 51st minute. Mikel Coley blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Broderick Ritter having to make a save. Walton Britton hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Broderick Ritter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Coon, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Leonel Longoria made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Daryl Brunson sent off a good shot on target. Leonel Longoria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clarence Slaughter in the 77th minute of play. Leonel Longoria made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Daryl Brunson sent off a good shot on target. If Daryl Brunson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Clarence Slaughter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dieppe's supporters rose to their feet, but Clarence Slaughter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonel Longoria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Broderick Ritter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Coon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clarence Slaughter in the 91st minute of play forced Willowdale's goalkeeper Leonel Longoria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Clarence Slaughter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonel Longoria was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After a rather tough play, Dieppe's Clair Brewster got a free kick in the 95th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Dieppe walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
