Andreas Norwood charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andreas Norwood the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Andreas Norwood hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the match, Hermitage AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Isaias Butler came free, but Patrick Beyer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hermitage AFC's Eric Croft got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eli McKnight kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Isaias Butler might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patrick Beyer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isaias Butler ran back to his position shaking his head. Patrick Beyer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaias Butler in the 22nd minute of the match. Isaias Butler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Beyer having to interfere. 26 minutes into the game, Lazare Snider cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Patrick Beyer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Von Clark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Norwood in the 32nd minute of play. Théophile McKinney was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 33 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Annaville FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 35 minutes, Hermitage AFC's Telesphore Mueller got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Von Clark. In the 38th minute, Lazare Snider got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Andreas Norwood managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hermitage AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Andreas Norwood was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Von Clark breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lazare Snider to make the kick off. When Hilaire Malloy fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hermitage AFC's protests and gave Hilaire Malloy a yellow card for diving instead. 52 minutes into the match, Hermitage AFC's goalkeeper Patrick Beyer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lazare Snider. Eli McKnight struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Patrick Beyer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Annaville FC. If Lazare Snider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Annaville FC's Lazare Snider got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teddy Tapia scored 1-2 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrick Beyer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 66th minute, Hilaire Malloy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute Andreas Norwood shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Von Clark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Annaville FC's goalkeeper Von Clark, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Daryl Cordero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Annaville FC's Daryl Cordero got a free kick in the 75th minute. After having played for 78 minutes, Andreas Norwood managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hermitage AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andreas Norwood was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Annaville FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Croft came free, but Von Clark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 85 minutes of play, Hermitage AFC's Eric Croft made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Von Clark was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Lazare Snider got free with Patrick Beyer in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 93 minutes into the match, Hermitage AFC's goalkeeper Patrick Beyer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lazare Snider.
