Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Winfred Bryan kicked off to start the match. When Clair Phaneuf came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Nelson FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clair Phaneuf couldn't finish the play. 9 minutes into the game, Kurt Johns was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kinuso FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nelson FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Kinuso FC's Kurt Johns got a free kick in the 9th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Corey Dostie during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a little luck, Kinuso FC's Brendan Gaudreau got control of the ball when Clair Phaneuf tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Clair Phaneuf got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 23 played minutes Sherman Contreras rounded Kinuso FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. When Kinuso FC's Winfred Bryan in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 34th match minute, Kinuso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ty Marin to maneuver through the defense. Nelson FC's Kyle Melanson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 35th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Kinuso FC. Sherman Contreras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kurt Johns kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Brendan Gaudreau made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clair Phaneuf in the 41st minute. Sherman Contreras was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 42nd minute. Nelson FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a defensive mix-up in Kinuso FC's zone, Sherman Contreras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brendan Gaudreau came out of the goal and Sherman Contreras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 47 played minutes Kinuso FC got a freekick which was hit by Winfred Bryan. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sherman Contreras made a kick off. With a little luck, Nelson FC's Wally Grenier got control of the ball when Erik Sweet tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 57th match minute, Kinuso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ty Marin to maneuver through the defense. Clair Phaneuf's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brendan Gaudreau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Wally Grenier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Sweet in the 64th minute of play. Wally Grenier made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Winfred Bryan sent off a good shot on target. Kinuso FC's Erik Sweet got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Nelson FC's zone, Winfred Bryan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wally Grenier came out of the goal and Winfred Bryan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erik Sweet took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wally Grenier. Wally Grenier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Clair Phaneuf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erik Sweet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erik Sweet struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Wally Grenier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kinuso FC. When Barthélémy Ducharme fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nelson FC's protests and gave Barthélémy Ducharme a yellow card for diving instead. After 94 played minutes Nelson FC got a freekick which was hit by Barthélémy Ducharme. The Kinuso FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Nelson FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
