Spectators: 6717 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Earnest Labonté kicked off to start the match. After 3 played minutes Ingonish FC got a freekick which was hit by Serge Baldwin. Earnest Labonté sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 7 minutes into the match, Ingonish FC's goal looked a bit too open when Titus Charrette came free, but Brett Spence reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Ingonish FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Keven Priest hit a great ball. Ingonish FC's Brett Spence played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Titus Charrette in the 11th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christophe Lincoln got free with Sang Schmidt in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brett Spence made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Earnest Labonté in the 16th minute of play. When Erin Myles fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Khartum's protests and gave Erin Myles a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th minute, Erin Myles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 20th minute by Laurence Hamby got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Keven Priest in the 23rd minute of play forced Khartum's goalkeeper Sang Schmidt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th match minute, Khartum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilbert Acosta to maneuver through the defense. Sang Schmidt made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Laurence Hamby sent off a good shot on target. Gilbert Acosta kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 35th minute of the match Gil Pichette sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sang Schmidt skillfully saved the ball. Sang Schmidt made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Laurence Hamby sent off a good shot on target. After 47 minutes of play, Ingonish FC's Laurence Hamby made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sang Schmidt was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Christophe Lincoln made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Khartum booed when Ingonish FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serge Baldwin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd match minute, Khartum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johnson Wynn to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute of the match Gil Pichette sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sang Schmidt skillfully saved the ball. If Gilbert Acosta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christophe Lincoln received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Sang Schmidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 70 played minutes Khartum got a freekick which was hit by Gilbert Acosta. In the 74th minute, Titus Charrette ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brett Spence was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 78 played minutes, Ingonish FC's Gil Pichette shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sang Schmidt came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ingonish FC reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Ingonish FC's zone, Titus Charrette stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brett Spence came out of the goal and Titus Charrette tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Khartum booed when Ingonish FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Derrick Querry didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aristide Oakley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Titus Charrette could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Brett Spence made a huge save. Brett Spence showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Earnest Labonté in the 87th minute of the match. Laurence Hamby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Ingonish FC booed when Khartum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erin Myles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christophe Lincoln struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Sang Schmidt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ingonish FC. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
