Whitewater FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Théophile Jolly was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ellis Gendron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Monte Beaujolie having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Whitewater FC's goalkeeper Monte Beaujolie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Douglas Ivey. 11 minutes into the match, Moyie FC's goal looked a bit too open when Donnie Corcoran came free, but Rogelio Contreras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 14 minutes of play Moyie FC's Refugio Soucy was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Moyie FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Refugio Soucy hit a great ball. In the 16th match minute, Moyie FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lenny Askew to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute Théophile Jolly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Contreras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Whitewater FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Edmond Pena hit a great ball. In the 25th match minute, Whitewater FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmond Pena to maneuver through the defense. Douglas Ivey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jerrold Coronado kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Théophile Jolly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Rogelio Contreras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donnie Corcoran might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rogelio Contreras. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Donnie Corcoran ran back to his position shaking his head. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 37th minute, but Monte Beaujolie got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Whitewater FC hanging dry this time. 39 minutes into the match, Whitewater FC's Donnie Corcoran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rogelio Contreras narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Whitewater FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Josh Petty hit a great ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Donnie Corcoran made the kick off in the second half. Moyie FC's Rogelio Contreras proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Moyie FC from getting a goal against them. If Théophile Jolly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rogelio Contreras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donnie Corcoran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the game, Lenny Askew was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moyie FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Whitewater FC the free kick. Elliott Hooper hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. If Douglas Ivey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moyie FC's Rogelio Contreras proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Moyie FC from getting a goal against them. 90 minutes into the game, Théophile Jolly cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rogelio Contreras was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Douglas Ivey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute.
