Spectators: 6756 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1756, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Arlen Tatum in the 4th minute of play forced Arnot's goalkeeper Daniel Aubé to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Aubé showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arlen Tatum, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 8thth minute of the game Rogelio Rodrigues who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arnot's Daniel Aubé was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 9th minute, Arlen Tatum had to leave the field with a concussion. After 9 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Arnot! After 15 minutes, Vicente Bourgeau mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pennington and the Arnot players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vicente Bourgeau kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Rodrigues in the 22nd minute of play forced Arnot's goalkeeper Daniel Aubé to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Austin Conner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, Pennington's Rogelio Rodrigues sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Aubé narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Odilon Trotter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Aubé showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogelio Rodrigues, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rogelio Rodrigues in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Aubé prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Forest Hale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rogelio Rodrigues stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Austin Conner struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Daniel Aubé didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pennington. Daniel Aubé made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Rogelio Rodrigues sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 59 minutes, Rogelio Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pennington's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rogelio Rodrigues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 61 minutes into the game, Odilon Trotter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Emerson Oneill was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 64th play minute Rogelio Rodrigues came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Daniel Aubé. 1-2. Odilon Trotter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emerson Oneill having to interfere. Albert Stapleton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute, Rich Gour hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Aubé made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rogelio Rodrigues in the 78th minute. After having played for 87 minutes, Forest Hale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arnot's supporters crossed their fingers, but Forest Hale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Pennington getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Vicente Bourgeau hit a great ball. In the 94th minute Forest Hale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emerson Oneill saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Arnot fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pennington were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
