The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 77th minute, Gregorio Naylor made a precise shot to the right of Monte Beaujolie. Whitewater FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. NDG United's Ignace Mullins proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save NDG United from getting a goal against them. 81 minutes into the game, Edmond Ho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NDG United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Whitewater FC the free kick. After having played for 88 minutes, Gregorio Naylor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NDG United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregorio Naylor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ignace Mullins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donnie Corcoran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
