If Hassan Doe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arlie Chandonnet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jae Beaupré having to interfere. Erin Babcock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincent Patel in the 15th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Chauncey Vincent had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jae Beaupré. Michichi AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chauncey Vincent was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Chauncey Vincent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 23 minutes, Hassan Doe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Michichi AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hassan Doe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hassan Doe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Erin Babcock made a huge save. Vincent Patel might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erin Babcock. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vincent Patel ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 37th minute, Arlie Chandonnet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Reginald Sumner kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 43rd match minute, Peakes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rory Dowdy to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see Michichi AFC's Erich Cliche in action when he in the 45th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After the first half Peakes were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vincent Patel to make the kick off. Hassan Doe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Erin Babcock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Peakes's goal looked a bit too open when Hassan Doe came free, but Erin Babcock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arlie Chandonnet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jae Beaupré having to interfere. Arlie Chandonnet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Jae Beaupré made a huge save. Hassan Doe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Michichi AFC's Jae Beaupré proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Michichi AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 76th minute, Erich Cliche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peakes's Chauncey Vincent got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Michichi AFC's zone, Arlie Chandonnet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jae Beaupré came out of the goal and Arlie Chandonnet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 82 played minutes Peakes got a freekick which was hit by Reginald Sumner. Chauncey Vincent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jae Beaupré having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aldo Mott during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89th match minute, Michichi AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Mott to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the game, Chauncey Vincent recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jae Beaupré. Chauncey Vincent showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Vincent Patel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peakes's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
