Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) Benny Eubanks started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Rocco Perreault hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 5thth minute of the game Ryan Luke who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pefferlaw's Roscoe Dickerson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hugues Jodion hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute, Ryan Luke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Earle Fry recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Kasey Cabrera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abe Whitfield. Melville's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kasey Cabrera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When Ryan Luke came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Melville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ryan Luke couldn't finish the play. Roscoe Dickerson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryan Luke in the 27th minute of play. Earle Fry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kasey Cabrera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Abe Whitfield tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rocco Perreault recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Earle Fry was the one to do the kick off. When Earle Fry came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Pefferlaw fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Earle Fry couldn't finish the play. Christophe Whitten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Melville defense, Earle Fry kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abe Whitfield. The Melville fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abe Whitfield should have stopped the shot. Pefferlaw's Kasey Cabrera has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 70th minute. Benny Eubanks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Kasey Cabrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the game, Rocco Perreault was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pefferlaw's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Melville the free kick. Édouard Richard shot from long distance in the 82nd minute, but Roscoe Dickerson was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Benny Eubanks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roscoe Dickerson having to interfere. Abe Whitfield made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rocco Perreault in the 95th minute of play. Pefferlaw were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Melville for a fine match.
