After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Theo Dupont managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kemnay FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Theo Dupont was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bryce McBride breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Theo Dupont sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernand Tackett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kemnay FC's Fernand Tackett got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fernand Tackett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Bryce McBride tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bryce McBride took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernand Tackett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Carl Ellis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Theo Dupont fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryce McBride having to interfere. If Elijah Edwards had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 35th minute Carl Ellis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominick Pool saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kemnay FC's Theo Dupont got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Ellis in the 55th minute of play forced Kemnay FC's goalkeeper Dominick Pool to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 57 minutes, Fernand Tackett managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kemnay FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernand Tackett was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Winisk's Carl Ellis got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Perry Grimard's late challenge caught a Winisk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Perry Grimard helped the player get up and apologised. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kemnay FC! In the 77th match minute, Kemnay FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rick Dickerson to maneuver through the defense. If Elijah Edwards had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Theo Dupont came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Kemnay FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Theo Dupont couldn't finish the play. Dominick Pool took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elijah Edwards, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dominick Pool made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Ellis in the 88th minute of play. Carl Ellis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominick Pool having to interfere. 99 minutes into the match, Kemnay FC's Theo Dupont sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bryce McBride narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Kemnay FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Winisk from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
