Russ Hampton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Roscoe Dickerson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pefferlaw's goalkeeper Roscoe Dickerson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stanton Beard stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Earle Fry's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Kent Rush sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Pefferlaw's Roscoe Dickerson got control of the ball when Russ Hampton tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kasey Cabrera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stanton Beard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathieu Tatum in the 31st minute of the match. Earle Fry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd match minute, Verona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Loyd to maneuver through the defense. Stanton Beard came out of the goal and Kasey Cabrera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Kasey Cabrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Russ Hampton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roscoe Dickerson having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Earle Fry managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pefferlaw's supporters rose to their feet, but Earle Fry was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stanton Beard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 66 minutes into the match, Pefferlaw's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Rush came free, but Roscoe Dickerson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kasey Cabrera struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Stanton Beard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pefferlaw. Pefferlaw's Earle Fry got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kasey Cabrera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Stanton Beard made a huge save. Kasey Cabrera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Stanton Beard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Verona supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Pefferlaw's performance. The match ended with a win for Pefferlaw.
