Pons Taylor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vincent Patel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 11th minute of the game. One of Kittigagzyt AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Michichi AFC:s goal. The referee gave Michichi AFC a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Erich Cliche, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Kittigagzyt AFC's Pons Taylor. 0-1. The audience was convinced that Hassan Doe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pons Taylor was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Jae Beaupré made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lon Plante in the 26th minute of play. When Lon Plante came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Kittigagzyt AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lon Plante couldn't finish the play. Erich Cliche hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Kittigagzyt AFC's Rodolfo Huard tried to score from far away in the 54th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Lon Plante might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jae Beaupré. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lon Plante ran back to his position shaking his head. 60 minutes into the match, Desmond Mathieu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jae Beaupré. Michichi AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Desmond Mathieu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Michichi AFC's Jae Beaupré played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desmond Mathieu in the 64th minute of play. Quintin Keenan charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Quintin Keenan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Michichi AFC booed when Kittigagzyt AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quintin Keenan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ariel Leduc during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Kittigagzyt AFC booed when Michichi AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ariel Leduc didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Hassan Doe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Desmond Mathieu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Kittigagzyt AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
