A beautiful save bye Kemnay FC's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Blaise Lawson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lechia Gdansk's supporters rose to their feet, but Blaise Lawson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dominick Pool breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 9th minute, one of Kemnay FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kemnay FC. The referee gave Lechia Gdansk a penalty, 11 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gus Desforges, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Kemnay FC's Dominick Pool. 0-1. Lechia Gdansk's Korey Laprise proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Lechia Gdansk from getting a goal against them. Claude Nance charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claude Nance the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Lechia Gdansk booed when Kemnay FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claude Nance didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 19 minutes, Geoffrey Houser mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kemnay FC and the Lechia Gdansk players grew even worse after the yellow card. Geoffrey Houser hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Gus Desforges took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dominick Pool. Kemnay FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Kemnay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Myron Johnson came free, but Dominick Pool reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernand Tackett in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Korey Laprise saved Lechia Gdansk from getting behind. Theo Dupont fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Korey Laprise having to interfere. Myron Johnson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Dominick Pool tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Lechia Gdansk's Korey Laprise got control of the ball when Theo Dupont tried to sneak it across the goal line. Myron Johnson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Theo Dupont's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Korey Laprise read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Korey Laprise made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Theo Dupont sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Blaise Lawson to make the kick off. Korey Laprise showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theo Dupont in the 52nd minute of the match. Korey Laprise took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernand Tackett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Fernand Tackett came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Kemnay FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernand Tackett couldn't finish the play. 59 minutes into the game, Theo Dupont cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Korey Laprise was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Korey Laprise made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernand Tackett in the 77th minute of play. A collision led to Lechia Gdansk getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Blaise Lawson hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernand Tackett in the 85th minute of play forced Lechia Gdansk's goalkeeper Korey Laprise to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernand Tackett took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Korey Laprise. Korey Laprise dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1.
