When Marquis Mallory came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Brancepeth FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marquis Mallory couldn't finish the play. Homer Brand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolph Powell having to interfere. Marquis Mallory sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute, Ronald Mims ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Quinn Sands was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 23rd match minute, Brancepeth FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giuseppe Adams to maneuver through the defense. Rey LondeLalonde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Braeside's Adolph Powell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Homer Brand in the 28th minute of play. Jean Bullard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Quinn Sands having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronald Mims in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Quinn Sands saved Brancepeth FC from getting behind. Jean Bullard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quinn Sands having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Braeside's goal looked a bit too open when Homer Brand came free, but Adolph Powell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jean Bullard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Quinn Sands tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brancepeth FC's Quinn Sands played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rey LondeLalonde in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Braeside were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Giuseppe Adams tried in the 52nd minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Quinn Sands a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 0-2. Adolph Powell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Homer Brand in the 61st minute of play. Irwin Ross hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, Basil Simard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67th match minute, Brancepeth FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilmer Lowery to maneuver through the defense. Rey LondeLalonde hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Quinn Sands made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rey LondeLalonde in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Adam Abel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rey LondeLalonde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jean Bullard might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Quinn Sands. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jean Bullard ran back to his position shaking his head. Jean Bullard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
