Léon Presley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Myles L'Heureux made a huge save. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teodoro Houston was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Eastern's Grady West sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Werner Johns narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Roberval booed when Eastern was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Houston didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eastern were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
