Spectators: 6735 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in McConnel's zone, Salvador Elliott stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilbert Raines came out of the goal and Salvador Elliott tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10th minute, Salvador Elliott got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ezequiel Clifford hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. The supporters of McConnel booed when Helston AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ned Geiger didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, McConnel's Porfirio Ellis got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 23rd match minute, Helston AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ned Geiger to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Helston AFC's goalkeeper Mose Andersen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mose Andersen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthieu Stahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Helston AFC's Salvador Elliott got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gilbert Raines made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vicente Pouchard in the 44th minute. In the 45thth minute of the game Salvador Elliott who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but McConnel's Gilbert Raines was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erwin Noel to make the kick off. Mose Andersen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erwin Noel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ned Geiger hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After 58 minutes, Robert Larocque mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Helston AFC and the McConnel players grew even worse after the yellow card. Robert Larocque kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. McConnel's Denis Faust couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 59th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Helston AFC. Erwin Noel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Matthieu Stahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Mose Andersen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 69 minutes of play, Helston AFC's Vicente Pouchard made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilbert Raines was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 72 played minutes Helston AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigue Colbert. When Erwin Noel came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the McConnel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erwin Noel couldn't finish the play. In the 81st minute, Erwin Noel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mose Andersen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 89 played minutes McConnel got a freekick which was hit by Craig Bériault. In the 94th match minute, McConnel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Craig Bériault to maneuver through the defense. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
