Brossard's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trinity AFC the free kick. Evrard Hendricks made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eli Gustafson in the 6th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Eli Gustafson could shoot a difficult shot in the 8th minute, which Evrard Hendricks however easily saved by the left post. Ulrich Overton hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Brossard's zone, Morton Solomon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evrard Hendricks came out of the goal and Morton Solomon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 18 minutes into the game, Brossard's Clinton Hurst nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edmund Flowers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Romain Hines's late challenge caught a Trinity AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romain Hines helped the player get up and apologised. Romain Hines hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Evrard Hendricks made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Eli Gustafson sent off a good shot on target. Eli Gustafson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evrard Hendricks having to interfere. Genaro Redding struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Evrard Hendricks didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trinity AFC. 27 minutes into the match, Trinity AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Clinton Hurst came free, but Edmund Flowers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute Lincoln McGinnis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Flowers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lincoln McGinnis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evrard Hendricks made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eli Gustafson in the 38th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eli Gustafson got free with Evrard Hendricks in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brossard's Clinton Hurst got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Genaro Redding managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trinity AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Genaro Redding was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evrard Hendricks breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kendrick Priest got free with Edmund Flowers in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 62 minutes into the match, Trinity AFC's goalkeeper Edmund Flowers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clinton Hurst. Evrard Hendricks came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Trinity AFC's Eli Gustafson. But to his dismay, Eli Gustafson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The supporters of Brossard booed when Trinity AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Paige didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eli Gustafson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evrard Hendricks having to interfere. Trinity AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eli Gustafson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of Trinity AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Brossard:s goal. Trinity AFC:s Edmund Flowers showed great skill when he stopped Ulrich Overton:s penalty. If Clinton Hurst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Trinity AFC were the better team. Trinity AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
