Vicente Pouchard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stacy Richmond having to interfere. Clemente Cordero kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Atherley's goalkeeper Stacy Richmond had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vicente Pouchard. If Evan Dufour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot by Eddy Gingras from long distance, 43 minutes into the match, got Stacy Richmond's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Harvey Kim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stacy Richmond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Elliott in the 47th minute of play. After 47 played minutes Atherley got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Cordero. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Salvador Elliott to strike the kick off in the second half. Emory Finn kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Stacy Richmond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Elliott, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute, Camille Binet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th minute, Evan Dufour got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Stacy Richmond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Pouchard, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Vicente Pouchard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stacy Richmond having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Salvador Elliott got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Helston AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
