Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) Alma AFC's Jonathan Boyce started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wayne Doss walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Sidney Eastman's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Werner Johns firmly grabbed it by the left post. Wilson Newman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Riley Piedalue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Alma AFC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Wayne Doss hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the game, Roberval's Wilson Newman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Riley Piedalue made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Jonathan Boyce blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Werner Johns having to make a save. Sidney Eastman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Werner Johns took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Boyce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Alma AFC fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Alma AFC's Sidney Eastman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After 56 minutes, Léon Presley made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Alma AFC's Riley Piedalue tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 65 minutes into the match, Alma AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilson Newman came free, but Riley Piedalue reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Léon Presley got free with Riley Piedalue in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilson Newman in the 70th minute of play forced Alma AFC's goalkeeper Riley Piedalue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgar Veronneau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Alma AFC's zone, Wilson Newman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Riley Piedalue came out of the goal and Wilson Newman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wilson Newman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Léon Presley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Riley Piedalue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Wilson Newman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Riley Piedalue, 1-3. Riley Piedalue made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Léon Presley sent off a good shot on target. In the 91st minute, Roberval's Wilson Newman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Riley Piedalue. Riley Piedalue yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Roberval had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
