Spectators: 6718 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Clemente Cordero charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clemente Cordero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Wilson Newman kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. The attack was good, but when Léon Presley in the 25th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Werner Johns took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camille Binet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roberval's Werner Johns played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ben Tuttle in the 44th minute of play. Werner Johns made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camille Binet in the 46th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Léon Presley stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ben Tuttle's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Werner Johns skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Werner Johns made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camille Binet in the 63rd minute of play. Atherley's Ben Tuttle got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Werner Johns showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camille Binet, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Camille Binet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Werner Johns having to interfere. Léon Presley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
