Spectators: 6720 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 0) When Buster McDaniel fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Piquitonay FC's protests and gave Buster McDaniel a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Yale booed when Piquitonay FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Buster McDaniel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Yale's Nicolas Eason got a free kick in the 6th minute. Huey Snider could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Nestor Despins made a huge save. In the 24th minute, Buster McDaniel made a precise shot to the right of Elwood Lamour. Yale's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 32ndth minute of the game Jeffry Yazzie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yale's Elwood Lamour was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 36 played minutes Piquitonay FC got a freekick which was hit by Lambert Tharp. Piquitonay FC's Nestor Despins proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Piquitonay FC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Piquitonay FC's zone, Milton Abraham stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor Despins came out of the goal and Milton Abraham tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Milton Abraham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Despins having to interfere. After the first half Piquitonay FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Milton Abraham made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Huey Snider in the 57th minute of play forced Piquitonay FC's goalkeeper Nestor Despins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Buster McDaniel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jeffry Yazzie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Huey Snider received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Nestor Despins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Buster McDaniel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elwood Lamour having to interfere. Huey Snider received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Nestor Despins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nestor Despins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milton Abraham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Buster McDaniel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeffry Yazzie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elwood Lamour read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Nestor Despins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lawrence Atkins in the 86th minute of play. After some careless play in the Piquitonay FC defense, Huey Snider kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nestor Despins. The Piquitonay FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nestor Despins should have stopped the shot. If Jeffry Yazzie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Yale's Truman Cross got a free kick in the 95th minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
