Spectators: 6737 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vito Kellogg kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernard Manuel in the 7th minute of play forced Fawcett's goalkeeper Rex Saucedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute Vito Kellogg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raphael Hampton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 11 minutes, Jerry Gifford managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fawcett's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jerry Gifford was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th minute, Vito Kellogg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Raphael Hampton. The goal made the score 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Hinton's zone, Jerry Gifford stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raphael Hampton came out of the goal and Jerry Gifford tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raoul Conner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rex Saucedo having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Raoul Conner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Fawcett's Sal Trent got a free kick in the 32nd minute. The supporters of Hinton booed when Fawcett was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sal Trent didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernard Manuel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Rex Saucedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Fawcett's zone, Bernard Manuel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rex Saucedo came out of the goal and Bernard Manuel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jerry Gifford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Fawcett booed when Hinton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raoul Conner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fawcett's Gaspard Isaac couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 50th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Hinton. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernard Manuel to strike the kick off in the second half. Vito Kellogg might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raphael Hampton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vito Kellogg ran back to his position shaking his head. Jerry Gifford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Raphael Hampton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rex Saucedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daren Collier in the 65th minute. Sal Trent charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sal Trent the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Daren Collier in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rex Saucedo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 72nd match minute, Fawcett was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abram Woodard to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute, Vito Kellogg made a precise shot to the right of Raphael Hampton. Hinton's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Vito Kellogg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raphael Hampton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vito Kellogg in the 100th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Fawcett fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hinton had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
