Spectators: 6728 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 0) Miquel Eason started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Coy King came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Borden FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Coy King couldn't finish the play. In the 5th minute, Bernard Manuel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hinton fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Hinton's Raphael Hampton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miquel Eason in the 18th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Miquel Eason managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borden FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Miquel Eason was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raphael Hampton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 24 minutes, Renard Morel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hinton and the Borden FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 24 played minutes Hinton got a freekick which was hit by Renard Morel. After recieving a nice pass, Borden FC's Corey Faubert tried to score from far away in the 24th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Miquel Eason received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Raphael Hampton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 28 minutes, Coy King managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borden FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Coy King was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Coy King had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Borden FC booed when Hinton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jordon Chatman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Bernard Manuel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Dwain Létourneau was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Renard Morel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Otis Béland's late challenge caught a Hinton's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Otis Béland helped the player get up and apologised. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Borden FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alvin Park was slow to take the kick. During this time Hinton's players had a chance to rest. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Bernard Manuel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hinton's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernard Manuel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dwain Létourneau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dwain Létourneau stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernard Manuel's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute, Hinton's Bernard Manuel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dwain Létourneau. Dwain Létourneau yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Dwain Létourneau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernard Manuel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miquel Eason received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Raphael Hampton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71stth minute of the game Coy King who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hinton's Raphael Hampton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Raphael Hampton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miquel Eason in the 72nd minute of the match. Raphael Hampton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miquel Eason in the 73rd minute of play. Évariste Bush's late challenge caught a Hinton's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Évariste Bush helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Borden FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 75th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Hinton a penalty, 77 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alvin Park, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Borden FC's Dwain Létourneau. 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miquel Eason in the 81st minute of play forced Hinton's goalkeeper Raphael Hampton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Daren Collier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Bernard Manuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Constantin Hawkins kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Bernard Manuel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Borden FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Hinton's performance. The match ended with a win for Hinton.
