Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Milton Abraham made the kick off which started today's match. If Milton Abraham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maria Handy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milton Abraham in the 9th minute of play. Lawrence Atkins charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lawrence Atkins the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Humbert Pina's late challenge caught a Bayfield's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Humbert Pina helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Huey Snider managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yale's supporters rose to their feet, but Huey Snider was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maria Handy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 28 minutes into the game, Bayfield's Millard Haines nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elwood Lamour made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Maria Handy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Milton Abraham went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Sydney Irizarry charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sydney Irizarry the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 35 played minutes Bayfield got a freekick which was hit by Sydney Irizarry. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bayfield's goalkeeper Maria Handy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maria Handy was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Milton Abraham showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 39 minute of play. If Sanford Rader had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Scotty Read fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yale's protests and gave Scotty Read a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Yale getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Scotty Read hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Millard Haines was the one to do the kick off. Bayfield's Maria Handy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Eason in the 55th minute of play. Noble Ohara was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 57 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute there was a penalty for Yale. Coy Marks stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Maria Handy. 3-2. In the 64th minute Huey Snider shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maria Handy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 minutes of play Yale's Lawrence Atkins was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Yale getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Lawrence Atkins hit a great ball. After having played for 71 minutes, Sanford Rader managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bayfield's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sanford Rader was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elwood Lamour came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Bayfield's Sanford Rader. But to his dismay, Sanford Rader quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. After a defensive mix-up in Yale's zone, Sydney Irizarry stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elwood Lamour came out of the goal and Sydney Irizarry tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maria Handy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Huey Snider, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After having played for 90 minutes, Huey Snider managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yale's supporters crossed their fingers, but Huey Snider was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 91st minute, Huey Snider made a precise shot to the right of Maria Handy. Bayfield's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. Huey Snider recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maria Handy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Huey Snider in the 98th minute of the match.
