Spectators: 6722 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Judson Laliberté took the kick off in the first half of the match. Sydney McFarland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sydney McFarland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seth Dodge having to interfere. When Sydney McFarland got free in front of the goal in the 15th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Seth Dodge was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 19 minutes into the match, Rosswood AFC's Sydney McFarland sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Seth Dodge narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 21 minutes into the game, Heaslip AFC's Ernie Link nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Noah Boulanger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ernie Link received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Noah Boulanger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Heaslip AFC's Ernie Link got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Seth Dodge was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Sydney McFarland capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sydney McFarland really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. If Judson Laliberté had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 36 played minutes Rosswood AFC got a freekick which was hit by Earle Eddy. After having played for 38 minutes, Ernie Link managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Heaslip AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernie Link was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Heaslip AFC's Seth Dodge got control of the ball when Aurelien Richmond tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 46 minutes, Dieudonné Cowan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rosswood AFC and the Heaslip AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th match minute, Rosswood AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dieudonné Cowan to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sydney McFarland made a kick off. Heaslip AFC's Seth Dodge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelien Richmond in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Rosswood AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Judson Laliberté came free, but Noah Boulanger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute, Aurelien Richmond ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Seth Dodge was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Seth Dodge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sydney McFarland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Noah Boulanger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernie Link in the 69th minute of play. Dieudonné Cowan was shown his second yellow card after 69 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 70th minute, Dieudonné Cowan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Judson Laliberté kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Noah Boulanger. That made the score 2-2 in the 71 minute of play. Seth Dodge didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurelien Richmond went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Heaslip AFC booed when Rosswood AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sydney McFarland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Seth Dodge came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Rosswood AFC's Aurelien Richmond. But to his dismay, Aurelien Richmond quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. In the 93rd match minute, Heaslip AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Colombe Villeneuve to maneuver through the defense. Aurelien Richmond blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Seth Dodge having to make a save. When Sydney McFarland came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Rosswood AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sydney McFarland couldn't finish the play. Rosswood AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
