Spectators: 6717 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marty McGraw started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Freddie Conrad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barrett Bourgeois might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Noah Boulanger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Barrett Bourgeois ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Barrett Bourgeois during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aurelien Richmond's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jérémie Braden read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Loup Hardin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Noah Boulanger was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Noah Boulanger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marty McGraw in the 21st minute of play. Sydney McFarland struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Jérémie Braden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosswood AFC. In the 25th minute of the match Bobby Walters sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jérémie Braden skillfully saved the ball. After 27 played minutes Moyie got a freekick which was hit by Freddie Conrad. 29 minutes into the match, Moyie's goalkeeper Jérémie Braden had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aurelien Richmond. Loup Hardin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sydney McFarland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Jérémie Braden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jefferey Curtis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Noah Boulanger. Rosswood AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 39th minute, Earle Eddy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, Rosswood AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Loup Hardin came free, but Noah Boulanger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sydney McFarland to make the kick off. A hard shot 55 in the game by Loup Hardin from a close distance when the talented Noah Boulanger managed to make a qualified save. Rosswood AFC's players were relieved. Sydney McFarland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Jérémie Braden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Marty McGraw managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moyie's supporters rose to their feet, but Marty McGraw was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Noah Boulanger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 69 minutes, Sydney McFarland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosswood AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sydney McFarland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th match minute, Moyie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddie Conrad to maneuver through the defense. Loup Hardin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noah Boulanger having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Aurelien Richmond had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jérémie Braden. Moyie's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aurelien Richmond was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 93 minutes of play, Rosswood AFC's Sydney McFarland made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jérémie Braden was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Moyie's zone, Sydney McFarland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jérémie Braden came out of the goal and Sydney McFarland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rosswood AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
