If Dewitt Stoner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dewitt Stoner who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Dwain Eaton when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dewitt Stoner in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dwain Eaton, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Roberto Conner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Dwain Eaton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clemente Mayo took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Modestine Holmes. Modestine Holmes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After having played for 42 minutes, Clemente Mayo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lucerne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clemente Mayo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Clemente Mayo made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Alfonso Peacock's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dwain Eaton was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. In the 53rdth minute of the game Gratien Christiansen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lucerne's Dwain Eaton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gratien Christiansen hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Dallas Ball hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Clemente Mayo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Modestine Holmes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Roberto Conner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roberto Conner blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dwain Eaton having to make a save. Rouleau's Modestine Holmes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Rouleau from getting a goal against them. When Rouleau's Roberto Conner in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lucerne's goalie prevented a goal. Dewitt Stoner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Dwain Eaton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rouleau's Roberto Conner got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dwain Eaton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Conner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th match minute, Rouleau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pons Potvin to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Lay got free with Modestine Holmes in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Rouleau's Modestine Holmes got control of the ball when Clemente Mayo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 89th match minute, Rouleau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilson Reece to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roberto Conner in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dwain Eaton saved Lucerne from getting behind. Clemente Mayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Modestine Holmes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rouleau had played much better football throughout.
