Donnell Edmonds made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernie Link in the 28th minute. After 31 played minutes Heaslip AFC got a freekick which was hit by Colombe Villeneuve. Ernie Link fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donnell Edmonds having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sammy Wiggins in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Seth Dodge prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andres Powell was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Andres Powell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Seth Dodge was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 95th minute Judson Laliberté shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donnell Edmonds saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Noelville eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
