Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Toronto Thunder-Birds's Sherman Engle started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Antonio Ferland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelien Richmond in the 3rd minute of the match. Noah Boulanger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shaun Maheu, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Toronto Thunder-Birds's goal looked a bit too open when Dieudonné Cowan came free, but Antonio Ferland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emmitt Ennis kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Antonio Ferland came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Rosswood AFC's Earle Eddy. But to his dismay, Earle Eddy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Antonio Ferland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sydney McFarland, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Christophe Summers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Toronto Thunder-Birds's supporters rose to their feet, but Christophe Summers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Noah Boulanger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antonio Ferland came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Rosswood AFC's Dieudonné Cowan. But to his dismay, Dieudonné Cowan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Sherman Engle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Noah Boulanger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Sherman Engle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Toronto Thunder-Birds's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelien Richmond came free, but Antonio Ferland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christophe Summers got free with Noah Boulanger in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Connie Hughes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Noah Boulanger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st match minute, Rosswood AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cordell Aragon to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sydney McFarland was the one to do the kick off. Sherman Engle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Noah Boulanger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 52 minutes into the game, Toronto Thunder-Birds's Connie Hughes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Noah Boulanger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Rosswood AFC's zone, Connie Hughes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noah Boulanger came out of the goal and Connie Hughes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Shaun Maheu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Noah Boulanger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sherman Engle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the game, Shaun Maheu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Noah Boulanger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice moves Aurelien Richmond could shoot a difficult shot in the 73rd minute, which Antonio Ferland however easily saved by the left post. Rosswood AFC's Noah Boulanger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sherman Engle in the 75th minute of play. Antonio Ferland made an important save on a dangerous shot by Earle Eddy in the 82nd minute. 83 minutes into the game, Dieudonné Cowan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Antonio Ferland. Dieudonné Cowan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. In the 86th minute, Sherman Engle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Sherman Engle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shaun Maheu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toronto Thunder-Birds's Connie Hughes got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rosswood AFC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Toronto Thunder-Birds's much stronger midfield.
