Spectators: 6761 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1761, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Wilber Burkhart got the match started through his kick off. Wilber Burkhart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Lucius Montano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Shayne Hand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucius Montano having to interfere. In the 13th match minute, Wyoming was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Deon Driscoll to maneuver through the defense. Wilber Burkhart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucius Montano having to interfere. Corey Murray recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucius Montano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shayne Hand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilber Burkhart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Wilber Burkhart sped through Thornhill AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lucius Montano. If Andres Cooper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th match minute, Thornhill AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Cooper to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Shayne Hand managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wyoming's supporters rose to their feet, but Shayne Hand was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucius Montano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 41 minutes into the game, Wyoming's Shayne Hand nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucius Montano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After the first half Wyoming were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Shayne Hand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Wilber Burkhart's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucius Montano was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. After 55 played minutes Thornhill AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mohammed Shipp. In the 56th minute, Shayne Hand got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 59th minute, Shayne Hand made a precise shot to the right of Lucius Montano. Thornhill AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After a rather tough play, Thornhill AFC's Mohammed Shipp got a free kick in the 66th minute. If Wilber Burkhart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Shayne Hand came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Wyoming fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shayne Hand couldn't finish the play. When Mohammed Shipp fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Thornhill AFC's protests and gave Mohammed Shipp a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Thornhill AFC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Mohammed Shipp hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the match, Thornhill AFC's goalkeeper Lucius Montano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Shayne Hand. In the 75th minute, Deon Driscoll got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julien Clay kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. The long shot by Daren Sellers in the 80th minute really tested Lucius Montano's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Shayne Hand's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucius Montano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Thornhill AFC's Lucius Montano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deon Driscoll in the 83rd minute of play. Corey Murray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shayne Hand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucius Montano having to interfere. Andres Cooper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Adalberto Call tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
