An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Duran in the 9th minute of play forced Hussar's goalkeeper Warner Brady to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Marcel Duran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Warner Brady. Hussar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcel Duran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Derick Desruisseaux made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jed Bragg in the 15th minute of play. If Blaine Faucher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hussar's goalkeeper Warner Brady, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Troy FC's Derick Desruisseaux played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jed Bragg in the 31st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Troy FC's Martin Worley got a free kick in the 38th minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 57th minute, Jed Bragg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 59th minute, Mike Grady hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Warner Brady showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel Duran in the 60th minute of the match. A collision led to Troy FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Devon Walker hit a great ball. Troy FC's Derick Desruisseaux played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jules Snow in the 63rd minute of play. Jed Bragg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Derick Desruisseaux read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Gil Diaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Hussar supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Troy FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Troy FC.
