Spectators: 6736 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1736, VIP seats: 0) Castor AFC's Gérald Poe started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Castor AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Long Erickson came free, but Mervin Hadley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute, Ernest Coronado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andres Cooper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mervin Hadley having to interfere. In the 14th match minute, Thornhill AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julien Clay to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gérald Poe in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucius Montano saved Thornhill AFC from getting behind. When Thornhill AFC's Long Erickson in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Castor AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Mohammed Shipp's late challenge caught a Castor AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mohammed Shipp helped the player get up and apologised. The audience thought a goal was coming when Danilo Henson got free with Lucius Montano in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 21 minutes, Gérald Poe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Castor AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gérald Poe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julien Clay kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Castor AFC's Craig Brunson tried to score from far away in the 26th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Thornhill AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Gérald Poe scored to the left of an out of position Lucius Montano, making the score, 1-0. Ernest Coronado hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the game, Thornhill AFC's Long Erickson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mervin Hadley made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Long Erickson to strike the kick off in the second half. Castor AFC's Mervin Hadley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Castor AFC from getting a goal against them. Lucius Montano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Henson in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th match minute, Castor AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernest Coronado to maneuver through the defense. If Andres Cooper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andres Cooper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Mervin Hadley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Danilo Henson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Castor AFC's Mervin Hadley got control of the ball when Andres Cooper tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Castor AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Long Erickson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gérald Poe in the 86th minute of play forced Thornhill AFC's goalkeeper Lucius Montano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Thornhill AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Henson came free, but Lucius Montano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
