Spectators: 6727 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Julien Clavet made the kick off which started today's match. With a little luck, Castor AFC's Mervin Hadley got control of the ball when Jamison Savoie tried to sneak it across the goal line. Danilo Henson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Marius Berthelette tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jamison Savoie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Castor AFC's Mervin Hadley got control of the ball when Jamison Savoie tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jamison Savoie's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mervin Hadley firmly grabbed it by the left post. Mervin Hadley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julien Clavet in the 13th minute of the match. The goalkeeper, Mervin Hadley, was totally fooled by Massey's Johnny Sinclair, who 15 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Castor AFC's Mervin Hadley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julien Clavet in the 19th minute of play. Massey's Marius Berthelette played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Henson in the 20th minute of play. Jamison Savoie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Mervin Hadley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Castor AFC's goalkeeper Mervin Hadley, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 30 minutes, Gérald Poe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Castor AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gérald Poe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julien Clavet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Mervin Hadley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jamison Savoie came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Massey fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jamison Savoie couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gérald Poe to make the kick off. If Danilo Henson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Massey's zone, Gérald Poe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marius Berthelette came out of the goal and Gérald Poe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Julien Clavet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernest Coronado's late challenge caught a Massey's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernest Coronado helped the player get up and apologised. Ernest Coronado kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Mervin Hadley stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julien Clavet's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Castor AFC's Steve Brewer shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 69th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Marius Berthelette but with some difficulty. Marius Berthelette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gérald Poe in the 70th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Steve Brewer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julien Clavet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mervin Hadley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julien Clavet in the 88th minute of play. Craig Brunson's shot from long distance in the 91st minute was not bad at all, but Massey's Marius Berthelette knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Castor AFC's Gérald Poe slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marius Berthelette. That made the score 2-1 after 94 minutes of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Castor AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Massey.
