Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Esterel's Ross Royer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shayne Hand in the 6th minute of play. In the 10th minute Shayne Hand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ross Royer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Esterel's Enoch Buckner got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 15th minute Wilber Burkhart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ross Royer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ross Royer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shayne Hand in the 17th minute of the match. Ross Royer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shayne Hand, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. A collision led to Esterel getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. William Jordan hit a great ball. Ross Royer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilber Burkhart, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Gerard Pennington sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Gerard Pennington showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gerard Pennington stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Wyoming's goal looked a bit too open when Gerard Pennington came free, but Adalberto Call reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shayne Hand came free with the goalkeeper in the 62nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ross Royer could save by the left post. Evan Lanier's late challenge caught a Wyoming's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evan Lanier helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd match minute, Esterel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evan Lanier to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Wyoming booed when Esterel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Georges Bunch didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Wyoming's Art Ledbetter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ross Royer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 96 minutes, Lonnie Caldwell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Esterel and the Wyoming players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 96 played minutes Esterel got a freekick which was hit by Lonnie Caldwell. When the referee blew the final whistle, Esterel could leave the field as winners, despite Wyoming having more of the ball for most of the match.
