Spectators: 6727 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sal Mejia started the match with the kick off. Tanner Glass blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mickey Léveillé having to make a save. In the 13th minute, Iona's Tanner Glass ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mickey Léveillé. Mickey Léveillé yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Iona's zone, Sal Mejia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tyrell Redding came out of the goal and Sal Mejia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hunter Stiles hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Carter Thorpe struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Tyrell Redding didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bassano. In the 22nd minute, Jere Roussel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sal Mejia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Tyrell Redding tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th match minute, Bassano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bart Iverson to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Iona's Jere Roussel got a free kick in the 29th minute. The supporters of Iona booed when Bassano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barney Collins didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barney Collins charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Barney Collins the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd match minute, Bassano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barney Collins to maneuver through the defense. When Iona's Tanner Glass in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bassano's goalie prevented a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tanner Glass was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Bart Iverson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tyrell Redding. Bart Iverson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. If Marcellin Gallegos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Victor Henry came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Bassano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Henry couldn't finish the play. Sal Mejia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Tyrell Redding made a huge save. Isiah Ohara kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Victor Henry might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tyrell Redding. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victor Henry ran back to his position shaking his head. 74 minutes into the match, Bassano's goal looked a bit too open when Marcellin Gallegos came free, but Mickey Léveillé reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bassano's Mickey Léveillé played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tanner Glass in the 75th minute of play. Victor Henry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tyrell Redding having to interfere. Sal Mejia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Bassano booed when Iona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moses Chamberlain didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Sal Mejia came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Bassano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sal Mejia couldn't finish the play. 88 minutes into the match, Bassano's goal looked a bit too open when Tanner Glass came free, but Mickey Léveillé reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bassano were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Iona to leave the ground with a draw.
