Spectators: 6745 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1745, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mark Baird took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some careless play in the Beverly defense, Theron Richer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Art Rushing. The Beverly fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Art Rushing should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Louis Alston in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paris Haas saved Charlemagne from getting behind. In the 9th match minute, Charlemagne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Granville Drew to maneuver through the defense. Beverly's Branden Gougeon couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 10th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Charlemagne. Paris Haas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Baird in the 11th minute of the match. Theron Richer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Art Rushing having to interfere. Paris Haas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Louis Alston, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Erich Whitehead had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th match minute, Beverly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezra Klein to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Charlemagne defense, Mark Baird kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paris Haas. The Charlemagne fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paris Haas should have stopped the shot. When Beverly's Mark Baird in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Charlemagne's goalie prevented a goal. 29 minutes into the game, Granville Drew was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Charlemagne's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beverly the free kick. In the 29th minute, Granville Drew hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Charlemagne's zone, Mark Baird stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paris Haas came out of the goal and Mark Baird tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Mark Baird managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beverly's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mark Baird was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Beverly's Art Rushing proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Beverly from getting a goal against them. Charlemagne's Paris Haas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Baird in the 38th minute of play. If Mark Baird had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Theron Richer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Art Rushing having to interfere. Paris Haas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Louis Alston, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute.

Paris Haas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Baird in the 58th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Mark Baird fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 70th minute of the match Eugene Munson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paris Haas skillfully saved the ball. Theron Richer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erich Whitehead recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mark Baird sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Charlemagne getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Carlton Bonsaint hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luc Cartier during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Beverly's Luc Cartier got a free kick in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Charlemagne fans cheered their team off the field, for while Beverly had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
