Spectators: 6719 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 0) Antone Bourget didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tanner Glass went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 10th minute, Fiacre Burt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Foxtrap fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 15th minute Marcellin Gallegos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antone Bourget saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Foxtrap's Antone Bourget played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tanner Glass in the 16th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Iona's Tanner Glass nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antone Bourget made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 20th match minute, Iona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Chester to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute, Fiacre Burt had to leave the field with a concussion. 22 minutes into the game, Hunter Stiles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Iona's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Foxtrap the free kick. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Iona! Dwain Landrum walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After 26 played minutes Iona got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Chester. Marcellin Gallegos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 31st minute, Tanner Glass left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Iona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Tyrell Redding showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emmett Snider, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. If Emmett Snider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 39 minutes, Jere Roussel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Iona and the Foxtrap players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jere Roussel kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emmett Snider in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tyrell Redding prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iona's Tyrell Redding played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emmett Snider in the 46th minute of play.

Harris Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Iona booed when Foxtrap was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lacy Therriault didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Marcellin Gallegos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tanner Glass in the 69th minute of play forced Foxtrap's goalkeeper Antone Bourget to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Foxtrap's goal looked a bit too open when Tanner Glass came free, but Antone Bourget reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Foxtrap getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Van Ross hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Iona's Marcellin Gallegos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Antone Bourget. That made the score 1-4 after 73 minutes of play. 77 minutes into the match, Emmett Snider had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tyrell Redding. Iona's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emmett Snider was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Foxtrap's Emmett Snider got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Foxtrap's zone, Marcellin Gallegos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antone Bourget came out of the goal and Marcellin Gallegos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tanner Glass fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antone Bourget having to interfere. Marcellin Gallegos took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Antone Bourget. Antone Bourget dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. The Foxtrap supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Iona's performance. The match ended with a win for Iona.
