Fiacre Burt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Elisha Norris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fiacre Burt in the 39th minute of play forced Chignecto FC's goalkeeper Elisha Norris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dwain Landrum hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Elisha Norris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fiacre Burt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emmett Snider stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Fiacre Burt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fiacre Burts short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Elisha Norris to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marlin Rouse in the 67th minute of play forced Foxtrap's goalkeeper Antone Bourget to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Chignecto FC booed when Foxtrap was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lacy Therriault didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute, Anibal Allain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute, Irvin Penn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Irvin Penn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
