Spectators: 6729 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marlin Rouse kicked off to start the match. When Norman Hall got free in front of the goal in the 10th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Elisha Norris was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 11 minutes into the match, Chignecto FC's goalkeeper Elisha Norris had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Nash. Irvin Penn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Irvin Penn struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Clyde Kirkland didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chignecto FC. Chignecto FC's Elisha Norris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Chignecto FC from getting a goal against them. Marlin Rouse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clyde Kirkland having to interfere. When Marlin Rouse came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Chignecto FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marlin Rouse couldn't finish the play. In the 32nd match minute, Lillestrom FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorsey Savage to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, Lillestrom FC's Francisco Nash dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Francisco Nash recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Norman Hall to strike the kick off in the second half. Omar Dostie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 54th minute, Kendrick Harvey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marlin Rouse in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clyde Kirkland prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marlin Rouse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot by Willie Baum from long distance, 68 minutes into the match, got Clyde Kirkland's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Norman Hall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lillestrom FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Norman Hall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elisha Norris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Marlin Rouse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Lillestrom FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Kendrick Harvey hit a great ball. In the 90th minute, Norman Hall left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lillestrom FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. If Norman Hall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Marlin Rouse managed to get in a good position for a shot.
