Marlin Rouse started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Olin Sizemore managed to get in a good position for a shot. Milo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Olin Sizemore was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elisha Norris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Olin Sizemore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elisha Norris having to interfere. Irvin Penn's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Clark Crump skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Irvin Penn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olin Sizemore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elisha Norris didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Myles Ray went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Olin Sizemore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elisha Norris having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Chignecto FC's Ronnie Reid got a free kick in the 37th minute. Elisha Norris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olin Sizemore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute Olin Sizemore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elisha Norris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Milo AFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olin Sizemore in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elisha Norris prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elisha Norris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monroe Laramée in the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute Olin Sizemore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elisha Norris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elisha Norris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olin Sizemore in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute of the match Milo AFC got a corner. Chignecto FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jody Noël ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Jody Noël almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Chignecto FC's Elisha Norris did a great save. Olin Sizemore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A wasted opportunity for Milo AFC. Abram Clifford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Elisha Norris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Chignecto FC's zone, Del Lentz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elisha Norris came out of the goal and Del Lentz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elisha Norris made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olin Sizemore in the 91st minute. Elisha Norris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olin Sizemore, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Abram Clifford might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elisha Norris. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abram Clifford ran back to his position shaking his head. Milo AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
