Spectators: 6733 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Samual Flint in the 8th minute of play forced Edgar FC's goalkeeper Séverin Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Samual Flint recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Séverin Romero. Samual Flint showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Séverin Romero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Samual Flint's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Vermillion's goal looked a bit too open when Byron Ritter came free, but Roland Meier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vermillion's Samual Flint got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vermillion's Roland Meier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Byron Ritter in the 27th minute of play. If Byron Hodge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hilton Byrd might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Séverin Romero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hilton Byrd ran back to his position shaking his head. Séverin Romero was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Samual Flint capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Samual Flint really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. When Gabriel Lemons fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vermillion's protests and gave Gabriel Lemons a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Vermillion getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Gabriel Lemons hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Byron Ritter was the one to do the kick off. If Hilton Byrd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th match minute, Edgar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelino Begay to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute, Byron Hodge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hilton Byrd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Séverin Romero having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Byron Ritter in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roland Meier saved Vermillion from getting behind. Byron Ritter struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Roland Meier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Edgar FC. Byron Hodge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Byron Hodge's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Roland Meier firmly grabbed it by the left post. Roland Meier was a little too slow when Byron Hodge got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 2-2. Samual Flint struck a weak shot in the 100th minute. Séverin Romero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vermillion. Despite being the better team, Edgar FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
