The tension between the Edgar FC and the MacRae players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 9 played minutes Edgar FC got a freekick which was hit by Corentin Means. Séverin Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Major, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Rudy Bowen managed to get in a good position for a shot. MacRae's supporters rose to their feet, but Rudy Bowen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Séverin Romero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. MacRae's Fabian Major got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edgar FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Fabian Major scored to the left of an out of position Séverin Romero, making the score, 2-0. Séverin Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Major, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, Andrea Rankin notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Edgar FC's Séverin Romero. Séverin Romero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Fabian Major made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, MacRae's Adan McNeill got a free kick in the 56th minute. After 60 minutes MacRae's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dalton Beaupré who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Edgar FC's corner Dalton Beaupré fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jerrell Beard quite easily take care of the ball. Byron Hodge could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Jerrell Beard made a huge save. Byron Hodge struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Jerrell Beard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Edgar FC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Byron Hodge got free with Jerrell Beard in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rudy Bowen kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Byron Ritter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Edgar FC's Marcelino Begay got a free kick in the 81st minute. If Fabian Major had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute.
