Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wayne Hough started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Mathew Richter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascal Barrière saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 6 minutes, Mathew Richter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Simmie's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mathew Richter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Mathew Richter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 10 minutes, Mathew Richter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Simmie's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mathew Richter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pascal Barrière came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Simmie's Mathew Richter. But to his dismay, Mathew Richter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Mathew Richter might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pascal Barrière. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mathew Richter ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 23 minutes, Mathew Richter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Simmie's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mathew Richter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nigel Snell hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Simmie's Angel Myers couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 30th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Southey AFC. Jeffrey Wilburn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wayne Hough in the 33rd minute of the match. When Mathew Richter came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Simmie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathew Richter couldn't finish the play. 41 minutes into the match, Southey AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Myers came free, but Pascal Barrière reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Simmie's Neil Duplanty got a free kick in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mathew Richter to strike the kick off in the second half. After taking down the ball on Southey AFC's corner Felicien Rowell fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jeffrey Wilburn quite easily take care of the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Southey AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! Mathew Richter scored 4-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pascal Barrière, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 71 minutes into the game, Mathew Richter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Pascal Barrière was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 74thth minute of the game Mathew Richter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Southey AFC's Pascal Barrière was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 75th minute, Angel Myers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pascal Barrière was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Mathew Richter struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Pascal Barrière didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Simmie. Neil Duplanty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascal Barrière having to interfere. In the 85thth minute of the game Mathew Richter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Southey AFC's Pascal Barrière was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Simmie's goal looked a bit too open when Wayne Hough came free, but Jeffrey Wilburn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pascal Barrière stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mathew Richter's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Pascal Barrière took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monte Beverly, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pascal Barrière showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathew Richter, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the referee ended the match the Simmie players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
