Jeffrey Wilburn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Byron Ritter in the 33rd minute of the match. Séverin Romero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mathew Richter went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Mathew Richter scored 0-5 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Séverin Romero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Byron Ritter stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Mathew Richter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Séverin Romero was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Jeffrey Wilburn was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. Séverin Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Myers in the 84th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Simmie's Mathew Richter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Séverin Romero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mathew Richter struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Séverin Romero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Simmie. 92 minutes into the match, Edgar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mathew Richter came free, but Séverin Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
